The goal of the Frisco Housing Authority (FHA) is to address the need of affordable housing in this growing city. Currently, the Housing Authority is comprised of 20 units of low-rent public housing. The Frisco Housing Authority does not have section 8 vouchers. The Housing Authority operates through laws passed by Congress and the State of Texas and under rules and regulations issued by HUD.
Frisco is located about 16 miles north of Dallas, Texas and is the fastest growing
city in the state of Texas. Our current population estimate as of December 2011 is 123,000. In 2025 our population is projected to be 280,000.
The 2010 Frisco Public Housing Authority (PHA) plan is available for comment on the Documents page. FHA board meeting minutes can be found on the FHA Board page.
